Great Opportunity For Skilled Ruby On Rails Programmer

Featured Replies

This is a great opportunity for a passionate and talented Ruby developer who wants to be part of a fun development project. We are currently developing a series of online games in Ruby and have ongoing work on a contract basis for the right developer. If you are skilled in Ruby and enjoy working in a collaborative environment as we rapidly plan, build, and release online games together this could be a great fit.

We are looking for a professional developer who has the ability to communicate effectively with the project stakeholders, help us to refine/develop the requirements, contribute great ideas and best practices for code, user interface, conversion, and quality game play.

Required Skills:

- Great Ruby on Rails skills

- Great database/MySQL/db skills

- Experience with jquery and solid understanding of JavaScript/AJAX

- Experience with Facebook API/integration

- Strong understanding and familiarity with cloud/scalable hosting, github, Amazon EC2, etc.

A history of code contributions to open source projects is a bit plus, as is experience with gaming systems and Facebook apps in general. Please submit a resume and discussion of your work experience. Local candidates much preferred!
