Roaming

Featured Replies

Arriving in LOS mid Feb. Traveling with my notebook. Is Inet good for roaming,or is there something better? Thanks.

The prohibitive factor with roaming is usually the dial-up cost. With pre-paid net cards that you can get from 7/11 with unlimited online time (3 thb per connection....not per minute) it might be better to access a local network and access you e-mails through the internet.....if your e-mail provider has internet mail!

REBOOT:

I will be arriving in Thailand in mid-Feb. INET, (thai ISP) list dial-up numbers for many cities in 76 provinces. I will evaluate the costs later. I want to connect my Laptop to the Internet as I travel (Konchanaburi, Chaing Mai, Pai, Mae Hong Son).

Does anyone actually know if this sytem (INET) works, or is there something better????
