Hi, myself and my girlfriend have been in Thailand now for almost 10 weeks (60 day tourist visa and 30 day extension) I am fro Ireland and my girlfriend is from Lithuania in Eastern Europe. We need to do a visa run no later than July 9th and were thinking of going to Kuala Lumpur for a week and doing it there. Its our first visa run so a little anxious. Has anyone ever done a visa run to KL before. How long does it take to get a 60 single entry tourist visa. Do you have to Q for long..? How much does it cost. Apart from one photo and an application form is there anything else required..? Thanks for the feedback in advance... Marcus

Anyway I have been to KL last year and it's very easy to get your single entry tourist visa from there.

Put in your application in the morning (Mo- Fri) and pick it up next day in the afternoon.

There wasn't a long queue, had to wait about 15 min.

I think the fee is 1000 Baht but not sure about that.
