spacemunk
if u dont wanna burn u can also use Daemontools and just create a Virtual drive and mount the ISO image file. Or u can also just use MagicISO and burn it.

endure
When you say that your attempts fail what exactly happens? Do you get any error messages? And what option in the programs are you using? Are you trying to burn the ISO file in the same way you would an MP3? I don't know the commands in the programs you mention but in Roxio you would need to choose 'Burn Disk IMAGE' rather than 'burn data disk' or 'burn music disk'. Semper
What error messages do you get? Sorry, can't remember. As this is a downloaded file, I thought it was incomplete or corrupted. So, I did another download of the file but with the same result when I tried to burn it. I also read the comments from other people who had downloaded this file, and the response was . Prichard
Semper - Yes, I found PowerIso is easy to use. Also, check your 'burner speed' option - it should match you DVD burner drive. Good luck.
Jiu-Jitsu
ImgBurn is foolproof and free. Just remove the option to install the Google ToolBar. RKASA
Get an md5 file of the iso and make sure the iso is not corrupted. It is a check sum that matches your iso to the original iso.
HeavyDrinker
I'll second IMGburn. Just right click on the ISO file and select "burn with IMGburn" It really is that easy. If you choose to 'verify' the data and you are on a laptop, IMGburn will ask you to re-open the disc tray. Simply open the tray, then close it and click on 'OK' . Also it is always best to choose the slowest speed for .ISO files.
Prichard
I agree with ‘HeavyDrinker’ (TV userID not a behavior – cheers) for chosing the lowest burner speed for .ISO file. I’ll give imgBurn a try. Thanks for recommendation. Cheers again.

keeniau96
My standard procedure is: 1. verify the MD5 to ensure good download 2. burn at low speed; 4x for DVD, 16x for CD 3. Use high-quality blanks; I prefer Sony (the only Sony item I would ever buy). I use K3B in Linux but just about any of the programs mentioned in this thread should do the job. If all else fails replace the hardware, a Samsung DVD/CD burner costs only 650 baht for desktop box.

If you're gonna use CD media, stick to the standard 80 minute/700 MB discs instead. FWIW, 99 minute discs do not conform with accepted book standards and frequently fail in many CD-RW drives. Princo media is low quality and don't last very long; 6 months more or less until the disc becomes unreadable.
