I predict a landslide lose of face by the PTP/RED leaders and mindless followers who would rather believe false propaganda than to open their eyes to the truth. bah.gif You might ask what is that truth? Manipulating the un-educated masses with money, hate speeches of lies, and electronics.

By the way I took a look at the interview done by Aljizzera (Sorry for the mis-spell) and it is pretty obvious that the world outside of the Kingdom isn't being fooled by the PTP/red faction. Even now as PTP try to distance themselves from the reds the rest of the world can see that they are one in the same.

I have yet to receive any. Wish I would get some.

"peopl must be able to criticize and examine you as a public figure":

Hope she is giving the same advice to Yingluck? Thought not.... Double standards?

Good thing they took her away. Wouldn't want the truth to get tossed in his face.

Did you see the photo above with them talking to each other? I take it from that photo that she got to tell him everything she wanted to. After she'd had her turn she was escorted away so they could continue the campaign.

I sympathize with Madame Jittra, I really do, and she does have some legitimate grievances, howver, PM Abhisit cannot be blamed for global economic conditions. Many of the layoffs and cutbacks in Thailand were a direct result of foreign markets contracting. A PM does not have a magic wand.

More than sympathize; she's a hero in my view. And prosecuted, for speaking her mind. One of Thailand's increasing number of outspoken dissidents.

Well said. Even with their restricted education system, Thai people are beginning to realise the truth, and they don't like it. In countries all over the world, poor people are rebelling against their lives being controlled by the chosen few, why would Thailand be any different? They are force fed the lifestyles of the rich on TV every night. They watch people who have everything, while they, and their families have next to nothing, and little hope of ever having a quality life. Is it really any wonder that they believe in Thaksin, and his promises, because they've seen for themselves how little they get under the present system.

She made some good points there....What Abhisit and his administering government couldn't do when in power is impossible for them to do if they are elected. He's indeed good at giving big words....Abhisit the "good words" talking machine..

At least the PM Abhisit government gave it a good try under difficult circumstances. In 2008 we had the governments of the late k. Samak and k. Somchai mainly busy with trying to get back Thaksin. From 2009 we had k. Abhisit having to cope with both the global financial crisis and the UDD / red-shirts. The economy seems to be doing quiet well even compared with nations in the region. Of course not all Thai are rich yet, for that you have to wait for PTP to rule and dictate <_<

I liked her point that a politician has to accept criticism, even if that politician is the PM and even if the PM is called Abhisit.

the dems wont let this happen, things take time and things will get better and only then will the reds change.

Yes. If only Thaksin had accepted that when he was PM...

Hard to understand for the intellectuals and educated ones, but this time is it about Abhisit and not about Thaksin.

If they are the same, I would prefer the original and not the sad copy.

I'm not a yellow supporter or for the current PM, but the red shirt rally that ended in so many red shirts killed or injured was due to their own illegal doing. Many are criminals just like the yellows who did their own little group of illegal activities and the "green shirts" before that whistling.gif

No it is a Thaksin partisan criticizing Abhisit, and disrupting a rally. She got to say her piece and then was taken away for disrupting the rally. As she would be in most Democracies, one individual can not use free speech as an excuse to abuse many others in a meeting.

Vs the classic Thaksin of holding up an X sign to say he would not take questions like this and answer them. The difference is shocking...

"When the House was likely to be dissolved, the Democrat Party then said it would lift the minimum wage to Bt300. We heard that and thought: 'You are the government. You couldn't even keep the previous promises. Why are you saying this to draw votes'?

Getting facts wrong makes one look like an idiot and results in loss of credibility in an argument. Pheu Thai are the ones who have proposed the crazy 300 THB minimum daily wage.

I have the impression its time for alot of Bleach in the washing machine and wash out all those colored shirts and get back to regular white shirts politics???

People haven't forgotten what the yellow shirts did. They were in court yesterday on civil charges relating to the airport protests.

But at least hes not a corrupt, lying, murdering theif eh - like her puppet master. Her facts are wrong anyway on everything from minimum wage to the murdered at the red shirt protest who everyone knows were 50% killed by black shirts anyway. More red lies, conspiracy and cover it looks like here.
