Anyone Used Asia-Work.Com?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Has anyone used or had any experience with www.asia-work.com? They are an expat recruitment website that requires a subscription to join. Thanks in advance

no but am interested to hear if anyone has

Be very wary of any recruitment web-site that has a joining fee, although not had expereince with this web site, know of guys who have paid US $ 200 to join sites which say they will get you a job in offshore oil and gas and guess what ? no job ever came about, all these companies do is spam recruiting companies with peoples CV's.....borders on a scam

There's plenty of body shops around that don't charge a fee so no need to use one that does.

Do NOT use them! I got ripped off. Even though a Chinese colleague cautioned me not to use a pay-service (recruiters are usually paid by the company that hires the candidate, not the other way around), I went ahead and trusted the website anyway. BIG mistake.

I forgot to mention...they won't speak to customers on the phone. Never trust a service that won't speak to customers on the phone!

Standard con for stars-in-their-eyes Westerners with so-so qualifications looking for an opening.

It sounds like a completely fake service provider, a "hit an run" company.

Do not suscribe with them.
