Train To Don Muang

Featured Replies

Hi I can'tfind any sort of timetable to organise getting to DM for a 7pm flight to CM. I would like to be fairly early as I prefer not to buy a ticket until I arrive.....+/_5 or 5.30ish? thankyou

Where are you coming from?

Knocka, we do not know where he is coming from or wishes to depart from . Until we know that we cannot advise, given that every suburban train stops at D.M., as does every train going to the North and North -East, There are many more suburban trains than those 3. There are about 25 departures on the Northern and Northeastern lines daily + the suburban trains.

Sorry

I'll be coming from Siam Paragon area.

Presumably Hualamphng is the simple way?

Cheeryble

Absolutely. There are so many trains , daily, to Don Muang. Both Suburban, which , in the main, terminate at Rangsit. Sadly, no complete time table is published. Either a visit or phone call to H.L.. will get you information about these. All trains to the North and North East, also stop at D.M.. but to avoid any hassles with conductors, it is considered advisable to travel in a 3rd class carriage,To the best of my knowledge, Suburban trains run 3 to 4 an hour in the peak, then maybe 1 an hour or 1 every 2 hours in the off-peak.Have fun !!!!

No, there is a lift in the hotel behind the station, that takes you up to a pedestrian overpass, take that and simply walk across,

You think that's still open I seem to remember checking it and it was closed off?

I think the entrance is now quite some way away....

It's about a 1KM walk from the train station to the Nok terminal. If u don't know the way a taxi would be a good choice.

The train just ain't worth all the stuffin around, I'd just get a cab from the Siam Paragon area.

How long would a taxi take to safely arrive from Paragon by 5pm? Cost?

You may well be right. The lift may have been closed when Swampy opened. No need for it any longer ,especially ,as it opened into International departures. So, nowadays ,taxis may be your best bet. Good luck/
