I kept overhearing kids at the local swimming pool saying something like "Mut nam" - i'm guessing it means something like diving or holding your breath underwater. But I thought diving was "dum nam" and it seems a very short phrase for "holding your breath underwater". Anyway, sorry for the roman letters - i can read thai a little but my spelling is rubbish.
