Not sure which forum this should go in.

I have been paying monthly for 7 years for mandatory health coverage every month with my work permit tax and I have never used it. Does anyone know what it covers? Im going to ask the staff at my work but dread the misinformation and just plain wrongness I will be exposed to and would love to hear from someone else that has a work permit and knows from experience. Looks like I will need surgery (Hernia) and want to know if I'm covered. Thanks

Yes you will be covered at a goverment hospital, but not a private one
