Often hear this phrase uttered out, but don't really know the real meaning behind it. I guess its said then followed by a line for both parties to agree on some issue.

It's short/colloquial for เอาอย่างนี้

It's a truncated pronunciation of เอาอย่างนี้, used when making a suggestion.

เอางี้ดีมั้ย "Howabout this?"

เอางี้ดีกว่า "Let's do it this way."
