Yingluck, Thailand'S Sarah Palin ?

Featured Replies

Is Yingluck a totally clueless duck , dropped and propped up on center stage ?

the only problem with that line of thinking is Palin did not come from money, earned and worked her way through politics to the ranks to a top state gov office and is more qualified to be president than Obama, where as t man is bank rolling his sister who has done zero, has zero history in govt but has run a business imo i would rather have a person who has a long history in creating jobs and making a payroll than someone like obama who has never made payroll or created a job. dont get me wrong i am not a reed shirt fan but palin has paid her dues.

Has Sarah the quitter learned to read yet?

I agree that palin is more qualified than Yingluck but thinking that either are qualified is a joke.

Palin was/is a joke and should be kissing McCain's butt everyday for putting her into the national spotlight. She never should have been there. Now she is on the gravy train and living the high life.

Yingluck is also a joke and, from what I read, had top level jobs given or created for her. A person who has essentially taken orders from her brother, answers to him and not the people, is not someone I would want running a country.

I appreciate that some people hate madame Yingluck, but I believe she is far more intelligent than Palin. The PTP designate certainly isn't given to heateful sloganeering or blaming the poor. It's like comparing Madame Merkel to Attila the Hun.

Palin qualified??? BS

Its pretty obvious she gave people "personal favors" to get to where she is.

Not really the same at all other than that neither is qualified and both are female. Yingluck is from a billionaire family with powerful international backers and a friendly domestic media. Palin grew up nothing to become governor of a state, and the entire time she was running with McCain the media focused all their fury on tearing her apart 24/7. Her personal life, the life of her daughter, and criticisms of how she raised her were nightly news. Unlike Yingluck, Palin was also able to participate in a televised debate with her opponent in front of the entire country. Palin may not be the most qualified person in American politics, but it's not a fair comparison.

Yingluck is well qualified. Agreed , she has held no elected position ,so far. But she comes from a family that have had a long term political involvement. Not just her elder brother. She has been groomed for a political position for a number of years. Interestingly , she has had meetings with the United States Ambassador ,as long ago as 2009. After which ,he sent a cable, back, saying that he has most probably been talking with the next Prime Minister of Thailand. Yes , that is correct 2009. She has been under the radar, that is for sure,(I was most surprised to learn that). but not divorced from the political process.

Comparing Yingluck to Palin is a gross insult to Ms. Yingluck.

I dont think they can be compared.

Not the same political league.

Has Yingluck even participated in a political debate yet?

I wonder how she feel deep inside when she is directed by the political advisors on live coverage?

If she doesnt feel somewhat used or humiliated by the family, she must be less intelligent.

I can not say whether I like her or not, because I do not know her, but she is indeed a political prostitute, and her big brother is her political pimp.

Palin, like her or not (politically I dont like her) is in the political Premier league (or major league) compare to Yingluck.
