October 18, 200520 yr Two English men die at the same apartment block and on the same floor in the space of 10 hours. Police Sub-Lieutenant Suntipon from Pattaya Police Station was called to the Niran Grand Condo in the early hours of Tuesday Morning to investigate the death of a foreign man. On the 5th Floor Police inspected the body of Mr. Gordon Arthur Roberts aged 56, a former Police Officer from England. Also inside the room was his distraught partner Khun Sawaroot aged 38 who mentioned to us that Mr. Roberts begun to cough heavily in his sleep and he awoke in severe distress. Khun Sawaroot attempted to summon assistance but returned to find the lifeless body of Mr. Roberts. He was on medication for a lung complaint and other minor illnesses which are believed to have contributed to his death. He is now undergoing a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death and the British Embassy in Bangkok has been informed. 10 hours later,Police Lieutenant Colonel Tidipong from Pattaya Police Station was called to the second death in one day on the 5th floor of the Niran Grand Condo in Central Pattaya. The dead man is Mr. Robert Palmer aged 55 also from England. His partner is Khun Ganda aged 41 who discovered Mr. Palmer after returning from a shopping trip. Mr. Palmer was not suffering from any visible illnesses; however Police suspect he passed-away due to a heart attack but are awaiting the results of a post mortem examination before they close the case. Once again the British Embassy in Bangkok have been informed. -Pattaya City News Tuesday 18th October 2005
