I don't agree.. but i do agree that cheating is a lot higher risk. Especially the guys sending money over Its not uncommon for girls to have multiple cash cows like that and make some time when he comes over.

yea when i visit my friends sister in her saloon i have actually witnessed this i have nothing against her (the girl with many bf) as she is friendly just i wouldnt want to be her bf... one day i saw her do this 1 phone call to bf in other country her dad in hospital can you send 10,000 baht.. 5 calls later she has 50,000 to play with goes out drinking at night.. just calls them and has separate facebook accounts with different names plus she said when they visit once a year she gives them the best time never complain always happy sex whenever they want it for 2 weeks the guy goes home like wow what a awesome gf i got.. she is that smart one just feel sorry for the guys... i think some farang think that buy sending money it will stop her from cheating some cases maybe.. but i know a few girls i have hooked up with have a bf in a different country.. i think now i wouldnt go down that road long distance relationship i would either be there full time in thailand or home country or just stay single.. thats my thinking about it..

Have known mine 5 years and visit twice a year.

Initially, I was going over to butterfly, but she was persistant and I didn't have the heart to send her away. For about the last 3.5 years I've been spending almost the whole time with her and hardly butterflying at all..

I'm hoping to get her tourist visas to get her to Australia and the UK with me next year.

I have learned a number of things I did not know by posting about relationships on Thai Visa. New medical information, that I was not current on, words not to say when with a lady from Issan, reasons to not associate with other Farangs (prejudice, bigotry, age discrimination and so on). I have seen a lot of long distance relationships. I certainly can understand the motivation. Thai women can be very addictive.

A couple of days a week I have lunch at a pub and listen to Farangs talk about their experiences in Thailand. The waitress have a reputation for being above the game and a lot of Farangs court them. A couple of the waitresses are married to one or more men. The truth is all the waitresses are available before and after their shifts. The short stay Farang haven't figured it out. It is fun to watch.

From the average Thai womans point of view outside of a tourist area money is not as important as it is to a Western person. 50,000 baht a month normally covers expenses adequately. The ladies are very sensitive to being alone. They would rather have a man around than more money. Thai women don't like to be alone. Partly it is sex drive but mostly they just don't like to be alone.

If you are in a long distance relationship and stuck with Western morals and cultural traditions you are going to get hurt. If you have enough of them you might learn better. Any advice given on this forum will probably not help.

As they say You never lose your girlfriend in Thailand just your place in line. I am a dog I lie to them day in and day out. People protest their love but as soon as someone else shows up they are gone. I knew me and the ex-girlfriend here in the states where done when she told me the 5 most important things in her life and I wasn't in the top 5 and she stopped, no idea where I was. I figured we are done it just took 2 years for it to wear its self out. Man what a load off my shoulders. Do not take yourself to serious nor someone else, they will drop you like a hot rock given the right circumstance just as you would.
