Johnniey
Just been to tranfer cash to the UK - Srijan Road brach. The guy in the bank who deals with foreigners tried to rip me off. He said there was a 400 baht bank fee, then said there was another service charge of 1150 baht for use of his service. He looked a bit unsure when telling me this so I questioned him. Then he pointed to the form in which I had to tick if I wanted to pay the charge here or from my account that I was sending it too. He said I must pay both. After I said that usually I only tick one, he remembered me and wrote a new little slip for only 400 Baht. This guy has been there for many years - be careful. KarstenBoAndersen
I think the 400 is OK ! But not more for a normal SWIFT transfer to other countries. It also cost to send from Europe, even it all done on a computer i pay 230 Baht when i move from European bank to Thai via homebanking.
