The study involved 1,009 heterosexual middle-aged and older couples in long-term (average 25 years) committed relationships in five countries.

Most gay guys I've known like a bit of physical affection, even if it's just hugs between friends- and I find the prospect of hugs and cuddling at night worth a lot, right up there with the sex aspect of a relationship- the type of guy who just wants to go at it and then 'stay on your side of the bed'?- bleah. Heck, even most well-adjusted straight guys I know like to hug.

I'm too lazy to read the entire article, but just from the OP, I would say this is only partially true. Men do like the hugging and kissing aspect--but only before sex. After sex? Perhaps not as much.

Actually, you might want to take the tiny bit of effort to read the article before commenting as it contains far more info than just in the first three lines that are allowed. A simple click and a read are probably more conducive to contributing and probably would take less energy than your typed out comment.

My husband likes to cuddle MUCH more than I do. It's not that I don't "like" cuddling, I'm just not huge on affection all the time. He is.
