Taking Children Back To Falang Land

Featured Replies

Hello.

Me and now ex wife have recently divorced and we agreed that I will take care of the children and bring them up etc

They have dual nationality so have thai snd falang passports....

I know to show thai passports when leaving thailand and falang passports the other end, have done many times when wife was with me when we were married.

What worries me is I am now leaving Thailand with my children without the ex (thai citizens also) and was wondering if I will be refused leave or more to the point they will stop my children from leaving with me........can anyone advise pls....many thanks

No problem, provided they have the same last name as you. If not, take the birth certificate with you named as the father with you.

just to confirm......they do have the same sir/last name as me.

thanks

I was forced to live in Aust. for 2 years. I bought my Thai born son ( Thai mother), same surname as me, to Oz, when he was 12 years old .He travelled by himself.Mother stayed in T'Land. I greeted him in Oz.at the airport. Left T'Land on his Thai passport ,entered Oz on his Oz passport ,. Absolutely no problem. Two years later his mother and my daughter came to Oz. She came with her Oz passport in her mothers surname. Also no problem. They are all still in Oz, I am back in Thailand. The kids are studying in Oz. Loving it.

just to add my children are just infants

I have taken my own kids, teenage with the same surname, traveling without Mum, to give her a break, and had no problem leaving Thailand or entering Greece & the UK.
