Bkk To Oz

Featured Replies

I want to go to Australia for about 3 months flying mid September. Whats the options now Tiger are grounded? Are there any deals at the moment? Are Thai airways competeing with the budget airlines? Thanks for any help as I'm not able to do much research on this subject due to a painfully slow connection in Sumatra. Cheers, Pete......

Tiger Singapore are not grounded, still flying SIN to Perth.

I did hear one of the budget airlines that flies to OZ had been grounded......

Try Jet-Star

Try Jet-Star

Good advice. Also Jetstar flies DIRECT- it is a Qantas subsidiary,

If you are flying from Bkk it will pay to check the flights and how much wait time you have in Singapore or KL, some times there is a wait for 10 hours to get flights to Oz which means a hotel room unless you want to wait at the airport for that time. so it can work out cheaper to fly direct with Royal Thai, the cheapest location to to fly to in Oz is Perth unless you can jag a special.

Jetstar

Strategic

Air Asia

Virgin

Though a couple of them may only fly out from Phuket it may be viable to get a cheap Air Asia flight down to Phuket for the international flight.
