Pheu Thai has evidence to prove Democrat violated electoral law

BANGKOK, 17 July 2011 (NNT)-Pheu Thai Spokesperson Mr. Prompong Nopparit said more evidence to support its claim against the Democrat for violating electoral law would be submitted to the Election Commission of Thailand.

According to the claim by Pheu Thai, the Blue Flag event, which was held in Samut Prakan province a day before the advance voting day, was considered cheating. Pheu Thai Spokesperson further added that the event was staged to gain supports from the people.

Pheu Thai has already filed a complaint to the EC against Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva, Commerce Miniter Pornthiva Nakasai and the Secretary- General of Bhumijai Thai for breaking the election law.

Mr. Prompong added that the EC should consider the case based on the fact that the accused were government officials at the time the event was held. He said later that by 19 July 2011, Pheu Thai would reveal video clips and photos regarding the matter for the EC to use in investigating the truth.

Why July 19? Will it take them a couple of days to get the editing done?

July 19 is Tuesday, the day the EC said was D-Day. Of course all of the editing and voice dubbing has to be done by then. Cuts down the time the other party has to make their own tape. I guess the editing can't be done in a day!!!! Funny stuff, they cling to this one event. At least the dem's have a list of possible infractions made (and continuing to be made!!!).

I Can't imagine it happening in Thailand :emot-kiss:

The sneaky underhand dastardly bad evil doers.:cheesy:

They should be banned from politics for life the party dissolved and all records of it expunged from the Government. Imagine the nerve of them trying to gain support from the people.:(

It would make sense to look at the full schedule of Blue Flag events

and see where and when they moved from site to site.

Chances are SOME city in Thailand would be having a

Blue Flag event in the days before some voting event.

Also check if this event was moved in time and place.

Or if it was not on a posted schedule from several months back.

It's pretty clear after the Noodles charge from a LOCAL EC Official,

that PTP operatives were ordered to find some sort of Tit for Tat scandal

to throw back at the Dems.

Like TRT in buying small parties scandal.

Quick, quick, find some more dirt in case it might stick.

As predicted this is Thailand......claim and counter claim........but of course the Thai visa 'Justice for all' .....enquire into all possible violations group.....will be out in force to support the election committee in fully investigating all complaints....as per their previous declarations......

Well we'd save lot of time and wasted words if Thaksin just released the full ist of things he is willing to accept. Then we can close the courts and the election commission and the counter corruption commission and assets examination committees etc.

No one is commenting on the EC investigation. It's the standard "Pheu Thai has video evidence ... that will be provided at a later date" that is being commented on.

I guess they are only trying to assist the election committee in making the correct decision.......surely the comment by the Thai visa 'justice for all' group should be...... well done in your efforts to provide information that ensures the election has been carried out in a fair and proper manner......

Democrat candidate to seek new ballot count in Nakhon Nayok

Democrat's failed candidate in Nakhon Nayok, Charnchai Issarasenarak, said Sunday he would file a complaint with the Election Commission on Monday to seek a recount of ballots in his province.

Charnchai said he had checked lists of voters, who cast votes, and number of counted ballots in 17 out of 463 polling stations in the provinces and found a discrepancy.

Charnchai said the number of counted ballots was 29 higher than the number of voters who cast votes at the 17 polling stations.

Charnchai said he believed the number of discrepancy could be higher if ballots were recounted at all the stations and the results might cause the winner to be changed as he was beaten by only 113 votes.

Charnchai said he has filed a suit with the Nakhon Nayok Court against six election officials, alleging them with falsifying documents. He said the court has agreed to conduct a trial.

He said he would inform the EC of the court's decision so that the EC would agree to recount the ballots. If not, he would file a lawsuit against the EC commissioners, alleging them with nonfeasance.

Given that the EC is going to make their announcement on Tuesday, you would think the PTP would provide the video evidence earlier ... unless they haven't prepared it yet, of course.

The guy has a valid query, after all the election was very close

In the interests of full investigation, justice and ensuring the result is fair......do you think the EC maybe shoud postpone any endorsements that maybe be affected until later.....

In the interests of a full investigation, the PTP should have supplied any video evidence that they have when they lodged the complaint.

Agreed. It's close. There are inconsistencies. It's definitely worth a re-count.

Maybe they have only just found it behind the sofa and want to take some time to make sure it is genuine before wasting the time of the EC.

Read: let the EC do there job but i am telling you now, if PT get harsher punishment that won't be fair because they are all guilty.

Hold on a sec... i thought you said "let EC do their job".

the people have voted but it seems the democrat party can not and will not except the voice of thailand .

Read: forget what i said about letting the EC do their job, Pheu Thai shouldn't be found guilty because lots of people voted for them

Nice troll reply. Very clever.

But on the contrary, I'll be the one who is laughing at your bitching and whining for the next 4, 8 or 12 years!

Who knows, maybe even longer than that. Hello PT and bye bye dirty dems. clap2.gif

Try not to confuse your theorizing any anti-Thaksin posters as being defacto rabid pro Democrat posters.

Being newbies here, how could you know the website?

You might not be able to tell long term histories of opinion here.

After several years of observing PTP in daily practice, it's not hard to bash them, they all but invite it whole sale by their errant moves and misstatements

Or,

Yes welcome back.

Tag team anyone?

Personally speaking, I'm not bothered by vote buying, as far as I am concerned, they all do it so it nullifies itself. However if this allegation is true, it could indicate vote tampering, that is an entirely different kettle of fish sauce for all concerned.

Would that be like the video evidence they said they were going to produce on the judges, or maybe the video evidence they were going to provide in the censure debate.
