How is the Maldives? Looks extremely expensive. Any tips about traveling there?

I worked out there for 6 months, be very careful which island you choose or you'll go mad ! some have nothing except the sun quiet and a bar at night and your totally captive. Others have entertainment and a varied choice so be sure to get it right. Just because it may say it has this or that CHECK it does and its open.

It is by my experience, extremely expensive no matter what or where and dont forget you will be a captive audience with little choice but to pay whatever they ask.

Alot depends on your length of stay, 3-4 days long weekend Ok, a full week, have plenty of money, longer than a week you may regret it.

Absolutely beautiful, unforgetable scenary, incredible diving if thats your thing. Best sunsets you will ever experience and the night sky stars feels like you could reach out and touch them.
