Torrent Blocked . Isp Tot

Can anyone explain why Bitcomet is blocked for downloads? I use TOT , that super reliable ISP. I live near Sattahip. Is there a better internet supplier that I can replace TOT with? One that can deliver 24*7 at a reasonable speed? Can I use the TOT landline to access another ISP without subscribing to TOT ADSL service?

Sometimes 3BB may be in your area, but often there is only one choice of adsl. I don't even have that choice. Try using a non standard P2P port and select encryt pockets at least that is what its is called in mine. Don't use it all that much as I only have 512k with ToT so do the math on how well that one works.

I am use BitTorrent in Bangkok on TOT ADSL and itis not blocked but I keep seeing post from ops that say it is. Do you get thesame slow downloads with BiTorrent if you try to us it? Please remember also there has been aninternational gateway routing performance issue with TOT since about Friday maybe longer which may also most certainly be affecting your Torrents speeds. Ialso have changed my primary DNS to not be TOT's I found using 8.8.8.8 (GoogleDNS) and TOT as secondary and tertiary you can get different results but I not reallysure why!

I'm quite sure there are many members of ThaiVisa who have between them 1000's of movies and just about every worthwhile TV series from the past or currently running.

Maybe start up a group of like minded people who have downloaded heaps of stuff who are willing to share and swap with others in the same situation. You swap amongst each other, super fast compared with torrents and no problems with ISP's.

Just a thought.

No, I mean that you arrange things with other people in your local area, for instance if you live in Pattaya, you meet with other people who live in Pattaya and download direct from your hard drives.

This is supposed to be a community forum (ThaiVisa), so I would suggest here would be a good place to try to connect with other like minded people and exchange files amongst each other.

Try the Pattaya forum or Bangkok forum, or whatever forum applies to your area and start a thread, you never know, you may get lucky.

Then again, on ThaiVisa there is probably a rule against it.
