We shall be travelling down from her home in Chiang Mai I was looking for you advice and experinces! But I have a couple of questions! She is Thai but hasn't been before, I have heard Patong beach is where all the night life is and we would wish to be somewhere quiter! Maybe Kata? We have about 1000bht a night budget for a bungalow/hotel can you recomended some and on which beach they are at. We have to travel from Chiang Mai so any ideas on a cheap but ok airline? Sleeper train is just tooooooooo Loooooooong And just your general experiences, good sight seeing, places to eat and to go out at night!
