Would it be possible to go to India once per year for a few weeks and then get a double or triple entry TR for Thailand? Is there a problem if you have a lot of old TR visas in passport.

From a Thailand base.

India doesn't seem to be that friendly and I can't recall reports of people doing anual visa runs to India.

I do know that they use an agency in Thailand, which handles all visa applications for Thailand. I suspect they follow the rules strictly.
