Partnership Sought In Spa Design & Construction Company

A joint partnership is being proposed by the owner of this Spa Design and Construction Company, with a Thai partner sought to get better access to business opportunities in Thailand and South East Asia, and to be more flexible with architectural and design work in the region.

General agreements and contracts with several leading European spa component suppliers are in place, and the company is the general distributor and constructor in South East Asia for many high quality and cutting edge products.

Established in 2006, the company can quite feasibly be run from anywhere in the country. Currently monthly rent of 5,000 baht is payable for a three storey 140 square metre property in Chonburi, but the unlimited lease contract can be terminated at a month’s notice. All utility costs are included in the rental agreement, and there are three parking spaces onsite.

A brand new product has recently been developed and is ready to be patented and introduced into the worldwide market, while a distribution partner with locations in 15 countries is interested to add this worldwide product into his portfolio. Annual sales averaged approximately 5 million baht during 2008 and 2009, with net profits averaging around 2,000,000 baht a year during the same period. Contracts worth 4 million baht have recently been secured for Thailand, while other commissions in China and Chiang Mai are currently on hold due to the economic downturn. Negotiations regarding projects with well known international hotel chains are progressing. Only one employee runs the South East Asia branch at present, along with the managing director. An initial investment of 1,500,000 baht will secure the partnership, with the balance payable over the ensuing two years.
