Where To Buy Classic Microphone

You won't find anything like that in C.M.

I gather you are looking for a classic ribbon mic or a crystal type mic? Try eBay.

Actually it doesn't matter. I am looking for a mic that has this retro look for a photo project. It does not have to work....just look cool.

Yes you can find these secondhand but far better to buy a new retro look mic that will have far superior internal components. Try here:

Actually this mic gets very good reviews.

You might try Kad Suan Kaew, 3rd floor. on the path back to IT City. I want to say the left hand path. It would be a store on the left side as you walk back. This store seems to specialize in high quality sound systems, renovating old components (20-30 year old amplifiers, etc.). They take the speakers out of old systems and build new ones. Wonderfully, high quality work.

I have to admit I have never seen a microphone, but given what they work with, they might have one or can make a suggestion as to where to find one. If nothing else, you will get to listen to some very nice music with clear frequency response.

Finding one in Bangkok is possible I would think.

But if it is only a prop, then why not shop on eBay? You will have a large selection and if it does not work then you will get it cheap and won't pay duty. Just a suggestion.

the mic i am using is not relaly a classic but it look something like this .

G-Track-front.jpg

this one cost me 6000b when i got it and i use it for my skype and online video with my client oversea

depend if you want a condenser mic or a dymanic one .

mic can cost between . 6-10k -

for brand like - AKG and CAD it may cost between 15k-25k just basic set up .

you also need to know if you want it to be USB or you plugin to a mixer and so on .

there is a range of brand like

if you just going for Good sound

MXL have a few range in the price of about 10-15k which offer very good sound .

PM me if you you have any question .

or you can drop by ICon plaza above there have some MIC range but nothing really fancy .

Samson also come up with a cute classic look alike for USB user .

MeteorMic_beauty_shot-385-web.jpg

this i think is about 4000b or 4500b i think .

it would be cheaper if you can get it from America online but if you buy local you get local warranty .

but expect to pay 20-30% more
