I'm reviewing what we've done in my wife's partner visa application and whilst I'm happy with most of it, I'm perplexed on the topic of working.

My understanding is that she can work on the temporary visa and on her previous trips down under she has made several thai friends. One in particular has offered my wife a job in her restaurant.

I don't want her to sound too eager to get there and get to work, but I dont want to leave out her keeness to actually do some work either.

My idea is that it goes to support the fact that she's not bludging on me (or eventually) the system.

What are people's thoughts on including this in her statement?

My wife is a qualified teacher in the Philippines and holds a Teacher's License here in Thailand. In our statements we have both mentioned her desire to further here studies in Australia in order to become a teacher there. I would have thought that talking about your future objectives would be a good thing (within reason). Who knows, they may even asked her such things during the interview process. It pays to be prepared.

Guys just a quick question - partner visa subclass 309 - it states that they are entitled to work in Australia. Are there any limitation on how many hours or days they can work - or can they work fulltime?
