danfred Posted July 27, 2011 Share Posted July 27, 2011 I've never seen a DECT (1.9GHz) cordless phone for sale in Thailand... and I'm just curious why? Is the 1.9GHz frequency used for something else in Thailand? It seems all you can buy are the dated, single handset 2.4GHz cordless phones which compete for spectrum with your WiFi and microwave oven. I circumvented this by having my parents bring along a Panasonic DECT system with 4 handsets on their last visit... and it all works great... but I hope I'm not violating any laws by using them.
