If you have any expectations to visit Thailand again, then consider NOT exchanging the money and simply hang on to it for the next trip. This presumes a "tourist" amount of money and not something larger like wages, profits, house selling, etc.

Not only do you have the cost of doing the exchange back and forth, the Thai Baht has held its value against the pound / dollar quite well. Relative to the dollar, I have earned a better return holding Baht paper than an interest-bearing account in the USA. Apparently the Thai government is living within its means and not trying to inflate the currency to pay its bills......

Keep it unless you are not going back to Thailand , you will only get about 45 to the Pound in the UK. maybe some Thai member who lives in the UK will take them off your hands

Whatever you do, I don't recommend Thomas Cook. I tried selling baht to them once and all I can say is that it was a rip-off that would make a tuk-tuk driver proud.
