Hi,

If I put some money in a Thai bank and that bank go bust, what happen to my money? Is there an amount that is guarantee by the Thai government like it is in many countries in the west?

You would probably lose it, but it is VERY unlikely that Bangkok Bank would ever go bust, so put it there if you are worried. ;)
