US Navy comes to Pattaya for some R&R

PATTAYA: -- The US Navy is in town and local businesses are expected to earn an extra 100 Million Baht thanks to the 5 day “R&R” visit. The USS George Washington Aircraft Carrier is currently docked at the Laem Chabang Port close to Pattaya and the sailors and officers, who number more than 4,500, are here to relax and enjoy themselves. Most are venturing into South Pattaya which is packed full of bars and potential companions for them during their stay.
