BANGKOK, 12 August 2011 (NNT) – Her Majesty Queen Sirikit was born on 12 August 1932. The beloved Queen who has been working hard for Thai people through a number of her royally initiated projects turns 79 today.

HM Queen Sirikit has journeyed throughout the country, both alongside His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and by herself, to observe her people’s living condition, listen to their problems as well as give them invaluable advice, solutions, and encouragement.

HM the Queen has dedicated herself towards the goal of offering citizens access to education and vocational training, which she sees will help create income for them in a sustainable manner and lead to higher living standard. These can be seen via hundreds of her royal initiative projects.

HM the Queen is still working hard to alleviate hardship of all Thai people; therefore, she has deservedly earned the title of the ‘Mother of the Land’ due to her love and generosity for Thai people.

On the most auspicious occasion of HM the Queen’s birthday, NNT is pleased to join all Thai people in extending the most respectful wishes for a very happy birthday anniversary, good health, and happiness to her Majesty.
