Jealous boyfriend fires shots in north Pattaya

PATTAYA:-- In yet another incident involving illegal firearms, a 24-year-old Thai male was arrested by police in north Pattaya, near Third Road, after expelling three shots from a pistol and then attempting to flee. The man had been drinking with his girlfriend in the appropriately named La La Pub on Third Road in the early hours of Saturday morning. Apparently his girlfriend decided to get into a car with another man and they drove off, which caused the 24-year-old to feel a little peeved. So he produced his pistol and fired three shots into the air to vent his anger. A routine police patrol was nearby and they rushed to the scene. When the shooter saw the police he tossed the gun away and ran off into what nearby scrub-land he could find.
