300,000 Baht robbery from motorbike outside convenience store in Central Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- 300,000 Baht in cash was allegedly stolen from the seat compartment of a motorbike parked outside a convenience store on Pattaya Third Road in front of Soi 22. Police were called to the location on Monday Night and met with the victim, a Thai National, who refused to give his name. He explained that he had earlier gone to the Kasikornbank and Bangkok Bank branches in Soi Beokeow to withdraw the money which was to be used as part of a money exchange business, the victim was involved in. He placed the money under the seat of his motorbike which was then locked. On the way back to his shop, he stopped at a 7-Eleven Convenience Store and spent 5 minutes inside the shop before returning to the bike to find the money had disappeared. Witnesses at the scene revealed seeing one man, wearing a brown shirt and a cap, who parked his motorbike close to the victim’s bike
