i want to know if there are some contrys where one can buy parts from, and when they come to thailand one dont have to pay import tax and vat??

like do Thailand have trade agreement whit, japan, china, Singapore? or some think like that?

Irrespective of where you buy the parts from you will be hit with VAT. Even with trade agreements chances are you will still have to pay import duty but perhaps a reduced rate. I suggest you get into contact with someone from Thai customs or a shipping agent to find out how much your going to be stung in taxes before you buy anything. Otherwise you may find something really cheap from Japan but once you have to pay the often exorbidant taxes it may become woefully expensive.

To take advantage of a Free Trade Agreement (Thailand has agreements with ASEAN, Australia, NZ, India, and as part of ASEAN, with China, India, Japan, S Korea and Australia / NZ) the item would need to be on the inclusion list for that agreement, and you would need to get a Certificate of Origin from the supplier. Suppliers are typically unwilling to do that for small consignments for occasional customers.

As noted above, you would still need to pay the VAT, and not all duty rates are reduced to zero. The Thai Customs website has a tariff database that you can select the FTA rate for different countries.

Yes, but rarely do these get properly road registered (that would mean paying the tax), so every year when they do the annual motorcycle registration crackdown, you end up seeing a few hundred of these impounded
