migrant
The wife recently bought a ipad2 with 32 GB, 3G. It has wifi so I know we can use to connect to the internet when in a wifi area, but what about other areas? In the past we bought something that plugs into a usb port, we load in a Thai sim card, and we have connectivity most anywhere. How does that work with the ipad2? Just pull the sim card and replace? Is this a difficult thing? Thanks All!!
lomatopo
Since you have the 3G version of the iPad2 you could use GSM (2G: GPRS/EDGE) or 3G data. You'll need to get a microSIM, activate it, then enable a data plan. There are a wide variety of iPad mobile data solutions available.
