Navy Sailor badly hurt in late night road crash in Sattahip

SATTAHIP: -- Heavy rain caused a near fatal rad accident in the Sattahip area in the early hours of Friday. Police and Rescue Workers were called to the crash scene on the Sukhumvit Road close to the entrance of Pattaya. Two pick-up trucks were involved and the driver of one of them was trapped inside his vehicle for almost 30 minutes until he was eventually taken to Hospital. Chief Petty Officer First Class Chatchai aged 40 explained he was driving along the street but failed to see a stationary truck, driven by Chief Petty Officer First Class Jalae aged 44 who had stopped to secure some items on the back of his truck.
