It functions as a debit card with a minimum stored value of US$3. it IS a "miracle" with the card, especially considering it pays for itself when just one ATM withdrawal service fee is waived. , Edited October 8, 2012 by Buchholz
ratcatcher
"Miracle Thailand Card for the Miracle Journey in Thailand" Do they seriously pay people money to come up with slogans like this? Yes they really do! It should have been: "Miracle Thailand Card for the Miracle Journey in Miracle Thailand the Land of Miracles" This free use of the word miracle is important since it is frequently used in statements by the friends of tourists returning to their home country. eg, "Wow, it's good to see you again, it's a miracle you survived Phuket after what we've read about it" Edited October 9, 2012 by ratcatcher

GentlemanJim
So if we get a miracle card and stick a few dollars on it, we have an additional insurance cover while we are here! Ooooh, I want one, I hope they extend it. I will get one at the airport next week when I return on my Miracle journey back home.

And if you empty it at the first minute you still have coverage??????? Yes, it's good for a lifetime, just like the Thai Elite Card..... or until December 31, whichever occurs first. . I mean honestly, a friend of mine came over to Thailand with a health insurance from Europe that cost him 150 Euro, had a heart attack, ended up in Bangkok hospital, and the whole thing cost over 850k. So this provides 500k for 90 baht? I would read the small print very very very carefully on this one because, one would imagine that even if 0.5% of the people taking this out, claimed 500k expenses for emergency treatment, the whole thing would be completely and utterly under water, rather like the elite card. I mean, if it is genuine and reputable, who the hell can offer 500k coverage on a premium of a percentage of 90 baht? Whoever, is selling this insurance better hope that they stop advertising it, or he could put his company seriously in the shateen.
