Nfl American Football Not On Tv Gold Package

Just checked the True Cable website.

No NFL American Football on Gold Package this year.

The site seems to say (mostly in Thai) that the Platinum Package only will have

ASN (all sports network) and the NFL this year.

Anyone hear different?

How much is that per month.

Bad service in my opinion.

Its about 2000/mth for platinum. An extra bonus is you get free UFC (pay per view in the west)

Of course NFL is no longer being shown.

They stopped showing the International Rugby Union matches a year or two back as well. (And Thailand has an International team!)

How else can they show all of that soccer if other (minor) sports are using the channels

I belive Plat pack is just over 2,00 baht per month, but that was a while ago when I used to watch TV.

yes i also was opting for the gold until i realized it didnt have N.F.L....... N.H.L.....OR....U.F.C. the 3 best sports on the planet, just doesnt make sense does it so i took the platinum

Before saying one sport is the best on the planet over another you need to stop for a moment and think!

True visions / UBC (call it what you will) is a business run by business people.

Do you think for a minute (really) that if they were to have more viewers by showing NFL, NHL, UFC, RFU that they would show so much soccer/football?

As much as you may think these sports are the best in the world (questionable in some peoples opinions) it's viewing figures that count and a handful of people wanting to watch these sports compared to around maybe 75/80% of the population wanting to watch something else means you don't stand much chance.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not slating any of the above sports. With the exception of NHL I'm more than happy to watch any of them when I'm in the mood, I just wanted to point out a possible reason you may not have considered.

The difference between Gold & Platinum packages isn't a great deal anyway and certainly not worth getting worked up over.

I'm told that Star Sports will be showing the Rugby world cup this year but I'm not sure how good the coverage will be.

Pretty funny to think that True really takes this into consideration. If they did they would be keeping up with the likes of Astro in Malaysia and what is provided in Singapore.Even Indonesia and the Philippines offer more variety and channels then True. True does what true wants, not what it's subscribers want.

That being said, OP get the Platinum package as you'll also get college football.

I get ASN on the silver package. They show NFL plus a bunch of usa college football and basketball. Silver is only about 700 baht a month. So pay less and get more sports?

I've given up on True, just seems to be no value in it. Going seedbox + media center and watch what I want.

I've bought the NFL network internet package the last 2 years. It's a great service but I've never had fast enough internet to stream properly. I was running 10MB 3bb @ the time.

True are crooks. They must have realized that NFL, NHL, UBC, Rugby , etc are sports that are normally watched by foreigners. So just like that, they decided to slot these into the Platinum package and force all those who want to watch to sign up for it. Ripoffs.

Their latest scam is automatically sign you up for the HD package even if you tell them NO. Happened to a friend who told them numerous times that he did not want HD. The technician than came to install had only brought the HD box. He had to go back and change it.

True are pirates and can never be trusted. I'd stay away from True like the plague, because eventually they will screw you.
