Rimmer Posted September 2, 2011 Share Posted September 2, 2011 82 year old motorbike passenger killed in North Pattaya road accident PATTAYA: -- An 82 year old motorbike passenger was killed and his 49 year old son was seriously injured as their bike was hit from behind by a pick-up at a traffic light junction. Police and rescue services converged on the scene and spoke with the driver of the pick-up, Khun Promlitum aged 26 who was waiting on the side of the road to speak with Police. He told us that he was driving on the right side of the Sukhumvit Road, approaching the Soi Nong Get Yai junction when the motorbike reportedly cut across his path at the last minute. A collision was unavoidable according to the pick-up driver who was detained by Police pending further investigations.
