Tourist Visas?

I came to Thailand 1 month ago and want to do a visa run to Penang and come back with the longest visa possible. I am guessing that is the 60 day visa, although I have heard about double entry and some other things like this. Can anyone please tell me what is the best visa for me and what are the requirements for it.

What visa is the best for you depends on your situation, like are you over 50 or married to a Thai.

Most people only qualify for a tourist visa. A double entry tourist visa gives you two entries into Thailand, each entry is good for 60 days and can be extended for another 30 days for 1,900 baht. So you stay 60 day, extend for another 30 days for 1,900 baht, leave the country and re-enter for another 60 days and extend for another 30 days at a cost of 1,900 baht.

Hard to tell what the best place is to apply for a double entry at this moment.
