Khon Kaen Immigration Office

Visited the Khon Kaen immigration office on Tuesday 6th to apply for my second extension of temporary stay based on retirement. The staff were helpful and I was in and out within 30 minutes, including application for re entry permit. I already had the TM7 and TM8 forms completed but they gave me another form to complete which was wrote in Thai, which I had the gf complete for me. Basically this other form was asking how much my monthly pension was and from what source, as I do not have a pension and my application was based on the 800,000 baht in the bank I just wrote investments for the source of pension and the immigration officer accepted this.

I applied for my retirement extension two weeks ago at Tak Immigration Office. Using the same procedure as yourself and all completed in the same time scale. No additional info was requested from me. Always friendly and efficient service there.
