Lucky escape as car slams into Barbers Shop in Sattahip

SATTAHIP: -- A remarkable escape for members of the public occurred on Friday on the Sukhumvit Road in Sattahip as a car, which had been shunted from behind slammed into a barbers shop and on its way through, destroyed a mobile noodle shop. Police and Rescue Workers were called to the scene and were confronted with a badly damaged Green Toyota Corolla surrounded by a scene reminiscent of a demolition site. Police determined that a Bronze Honda City driven by Khun Duanchai aged 20 had collided with the rear of the Toyota, driven by Khun Sukontip aged 33 with her 7 year old son in the passenger seat. This caused her to lose control of the vehicle which then ploughed into the Barber Shop.
