pokerkid
thinking about getting a ducati monster. I prefer the older 1995-2003 600cc models or even a 900cc. i have seen some 900's for sale with green books but no 600's. Also lots of 400's but almost all without green book Are there any 600cc monsters with green book available here? Tywais
I've seen one on a classifieds site about 8 months ago. Appears there are only 1100's there now. Classifieds - Ducati

ttakata
I suggest a 2nd generation Monster. My friend has a first generation Monster 600 and its his first bike and even he says its slow. It also cost him $2000 to do the valve service, new tires, and full check up in Seattle. Unless you're a mechanic you're going to have a hard time finding someone to service an old Monster never. Even Ducati Thailand might have a hard time since they were never trained on fixing old Monsters. It's a nightmare waiting to happen. They're sweet looking bikes, but good luck if you find one.
