sakaew
As the title suggests, I want to get my hands on an attractive property. Only problem is a 7 building condo complex around 100 metres from the house...now under construction. There's not much likelihood of noise, or in fact any other impediment. Is a tenant/future buyer likely to be put off by a nearby condo? Almost impossible to answer since everyone has a different opinion of what constitutes "unpleasant proximity"....but I'd be grateful for any opinions nevertheless. Vorranuch
It really depends on the target market for these condos. Cheap condos will look ugly and run down in a few years time, clothes hanging outside windows...etc. Tenants will be more likely to have motorcycles (i.e noisy) rather than cars, maybe food vendors will arrive and block the sidewalks. If you are talking about middle-class or luxury condos, this should on the contrary make the neighbourhood more attractive.
sakaew
Vorranuch....many MANY thanks. Your point is relevant..and is well taken. And is self evidently accurate. I have phoned the vendor and have told him I will not proceed with the purchase. I will PM you TV is worth its weight in gold sometimes.
