webfact Posted September 21, 2011 Share Posted September 21, 2011 Teacher at College in Sriracha accused of assaulting up to 8 students A College in Sriracha District is in the spotlight at this time following allegations of a teacher who allegedly assaulted up to 8 students through face slaps. The teacher named by the students is Khun Wilawan, the Thai Arts and Music teacher at the Assumption College Sriracha. A group of parents protested at the school on Tuesday and confirmed that an alleged assault on one of the students has already been reported to the Police. Khun Wilawan received a fine and was suspended from the school for a period of 2 months and placed on probation. Parents are concerned that during questioning by Police, Khun Wilawan reportedly said that she thought a slap across the face is an appropriate punishment.
