7by7
If she has only passed reading then this does not satisfy the requirement, which is a pass at A1, or the equivalent, in speaking and listening.

Thanks for your reply 7by7, she did get 120 for listening if that makes any difference.
Eff1n2ret
Ask her to look at the results slip again, she probably mistook "speaking" for "reading". If she hasn't got a mark for speaking, she hasn't passed. "No real reading skills" suggests that she didn't complete the reading (and writing) part of the test, but she's not required to. malct
Might have been better to have taken the test in the Uk before going back to LOS

Spoke to the little women this morning, and she says they tested her in all 4 category.s,. so i,m none the wiser. I,ll be back there end of next month
7by7
Most (all?) test providers in Thailand insist on candidates taking all four parts; but her score in reading and writing doesn't matter as the UKBA only require speaking and listening. bangkockney
Sounds like she took TOEIC? 60 in listening and 50 in speaking is CEFR A1.
