KRS1 Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Yellow Corn jackets any good? I hate the name though, it sounds like something stuck in a turd.
KRS1 Posted September 24, 2011 Author Posted September 24, 2011 Never mind, i cant do it...i cant wear something that says Yellow Corn.
thaicbr Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 you would also look like a motorcycling hairdresser.......bit over the top is YC
KRS1 Posted September 24, 2011 Author Posted September 24, 2011 Sounds like it was something invented in a trailer park after a case of Budweisers. dam_n nice black leather Yellow corn jacket for 1500 baht barely used, but but but....
Timthai Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 I have 5 or 6 friends who have Yellow Corn jackets. A few of them are pretty well worn, but no sign of them falling apart. Variety of styles varying from perforated leather to mesh, with an assorment of logos and decals, and some with titanium shoulder and elbow sliders. I am not going to pass judgement on the style, that's a personal thing, but for the prices I've seen them compared to other jackets, they appear reasonable value. Cheers.
Timthai Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 There's a model the says "Sledge Hammer" across the back... that's gotta be a bit more macho!
alexpoker Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Sounds like a ceral. Also hate all the lame text on them. Especially stuff like "hardcore" etc etc.
wana Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 But it says "Yellow Corn"... spray over it with black paint and the words "yellow corn " wil be invisible on the black jacket
ozzydom Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Yep, they certainly are a bit pretentious, but they work great. I was wearing mine when I had to lay my 1000 GS down to avoid a head on,not a mark on me or the jacket, pity about the bike though. The mesh model is heavy but cool without the waterproof insert. Now it just hangs in the wardrobe as a momento of days gone by. From memory it cost me 6k size LL.
AnthonyR1 Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 i have yellow corn leather pants. plastered in the logo :-( i blacked out all the "yellow corn" with black ink just so i could live with myself. otherwise quality and value is great. on this item anyway. i wasnt impressed with their jackets
VocalNeal Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Never mind, i cant do it...i cant wear something that says Yellow Corn. I have been known to ride around with GREEDY on my jacket.
Travelmate Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 I never bring myself to wear yellow corn even if it was blacked out.
BigBikeBKK Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Dunno... every time I see Yellow Corn I can't help but think of Fat Bastard (and Rustic Charm who could be his twin)
RusticCharm Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Dunno... every time I see Yellow Corn I can't help but think of Fat Bastard (and Rustic Charm who could be his twin) Oooo, BigMouthBkk is back. Actually, I don't wear Yellowcorn gear. And do you really want to get into a public slanging match again after last time?

RED21 Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 I'll still be mentally scarred... These might ease the pain a bit...
RED21 Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 And now to add more scars... Then again ...
ozzydom Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Thats why I hung my jacket away, it was attracting them like bees to honey.
nikster Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 I found a yellowcorn jacket made to look like a vintage 76 union oil jacket. So I bought it - the cheeseball text on their other gear makes it impossible to even consider. I am not *that* Thai. Yet anyway. Anyway th
nikster Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 .. Continued Can't find a fault with either quality or function. I didn't crash yet but it has a back protector, elbow and shoulder padding a super light rain insert that zips in, and it stays cool on hot days. Way more so than my dainese mesh jacket Now if they only had reasonable designs...
RED21 Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 イエローコーン = yellow corn Online Catalog: イエローコーン
