Is It Possible To Go Phuket, Phi Phi Then Ko Lanta In October?

Featured Replies

We are arriving in Phuket on 2nd October. We would also like to visit Phi Phi and Koh Lanta but I see that the ferry from Phuket to Koh Lanta isn't starting up again until November, although I think we can get to Phi Phi from Phuket by ferry. Is it possible to get to Koh Lanta by another route? (We don't have to do Phi Phi / Koh Lanta in any particular order except that we cannot change arriving in Phuket). Also, if it is possible to get to Koh Lanta, can anyone recommend accommodation close to wherever we arrive, close to restaurants that will be open, and close to a nice beach? Or is this sort of wish list for Koh Lanta not going to be viable in October?

Thanks for your help

...lol well 'ope the weather improves by the time you arrive..bit damp now..

Many tour boats go to Phi Phi from Phuket ( again the options may be limited ...trip may be a little long and rough this time of year) then also to Ko Lanta from there ( again iffy this time of year)

Ko Lanta can be reached by road/air via Krabi.....Krabi - Ko Lanta.. . there are mini buses that go there also ferries but again low season.

If and when you get to Ko Lanta you will have the choice of many inexpensive "on the beach" bungalows and resorts best get on the Ko Lanta web sites for major ones ... rent a motorbike or leg it and explore ...?
