PEA trims, chops trees blocking power lines

PATTAYA: -- The Provincial Electrical Authority is trimming and removing trees interfering with power lines.

About 20 PEA technicians worked Sept. 20 on Second Road at Soi 6 to cut down a large tree whose branches had become entangled with a power line running from near Central Road to Central Center. Electricity was cut off for half a day as the line was cleared and police worked to keep vehicles away lines and workers.
