Canada Surrenders
Perhaps Canadians know that tariffs are a tax imposed on the buyer of foreign goods and the Canadian government decided not to punish its citizens. On the other hand, Trump seems to continue peddling the nonsense that somehow foreigners are paying the tariffs and the MAGA types are stupid enough to believe him. This isn't Canada caving, it's the Canadian people winning, unlike ordinary Americans who only lose by having this very regressive tariff tax imposed on them so that the very wealthy can enjoy tax breaks. -
