Ladyboy theft suspects caught in South Pattaya

PATTAYA: --Three ladyboys aged between 17 and 21 were arrested by local vendors working the South Pattaya Road market, opposite Wat Chai Mongkol, and later charged with stealing offences. In the early hours of Thursday morning, Pattaya Police were called to the market area where vendors had apprehended three ladyboys whom the vendors claimed had engaged in stealing small items, most worth not much more than 20 baht each. Back at the station, the ladyboys confessed to stealing a number of items but their chief spokesperson claimed they had spent the night drinking and didn’t really know what they were doing. After being brought back to their residence in Soi Kow Noi, more stolen items were collected and brought to the police station so local vendors could identify and reclaim their property.
